One of the running jokes Melbournians have around this time of the year is the fear of doing Christmas shopping at Chadstone Shopping Centre or ‘Chaddy’ as the locals like to call it.

For non-locals the nightmare is all about traffic congestion around the complex and then once you are inside finding a car park. Chaddy has always claimed to be the biggest shopping centre (mall) in the Southern Hemisphere and last month opened up a new area that has been redeveloped, making it even bigger.

Good luck Christmas shoppers – you’re going to need it.

This month’s photo is an abstract taken of the ceiling from inside the newly built section.

I’ve read somewhere that it is good therapy to write everyday. Separate to the main blog on Volare Photography, Diary Of A Photographer is a way for me to express thoughts that clutter my head but maybe inspire or provoke thoughts in yours.

If you would like to punish yourself, add your email below and I will send you a link to the most recent post when it is published.

PS It will not be every day. [convertkit form=4913878]
