Favourite Photo of the Month

– Diary of a Photographer –

What good is a diary if you don’t reflect on the past?

So once a month I thought it would be a good idea to share a favourite photo (non-client) I took from the past month.

As I wasn’t prepared for this…today I am sharing a photo of my daughter Aria taken a few months ago.

It is an image that I would never put up on my wall because it is of poor quality and blurry. I wish I had taken it with a better camera under better lighting conditions because I would then blow it up to a large wall print for my study at home.

Instead, I have it in a folder on my desktop and every time I miss her I open it up for a few seconds and without fail it makes me smile.
Why? Because she is a huge giggler and Daddy without fail could always make her laugh. Back then when she laughed she would always turn her nose up and give a crooked laugh. It was her signature. And now I have captured it FOREVER.

Do you have similar photos? They may be terrible in quality but something about them makes you happy. Tell me about them in the comments below or better still if you dare share the photo in the comments section of this post in Facebook. Here’s the link:

Until next time.

Take care

I’ve read somewhere that it is good therapy to write everyday. Separate to the main blog on Volare Photography, Diary Of A Photographer is a way for me to express thoughts that clutter my head but maybe inspire or provoke thoughts in yours.

If you would like to punish yourself, add your email below and I will send you a link to the most recent post when it is published.

PS It will not be every day. [convertkit form=4913878]
