Bentleigh Sunday Market
The Bentleigh Sunday Market is run by volunteers from the Rotary Club of Bentleigh Moorabbin Central with assistance from the Rotary Club of Moorleigh Moorabbin. Since 1977, all proceeds raised have supported local charities and Rotary Projects such as Bushfire & Flood Relief.
As a new local I only discovered Bentleigh Sunday Market a few months ago. I find it extremely enjoyable visiting local markets across Melbourne on the weekends. It gets you out of bed, allows you to spend time with the family and puts you in a great frame of mind for the rest of the day. Plus you never know when you may pick up a great bargain. If you are into the local market scene then you cant go wrong with a visit to the Bentleigh Sunday Market.
It is located right opposite the Bentleigh train station and entry is by gold coin daonation.
A few weeks ago we set up a marquee and took photos of children to help promote the market’s inaugural ‘Baby’ day. You can see some of those photos here.

As a thank you to the market organisers I spent some time there and created a short video of the Bentleigh Sunday Market for their promotional purposes.
If you live locally I definitely would recommend a visit. It’s a great way to spend a Sunday morning especially if you combine it with breakfast and coffee at one of the local cafes.
Enjoy
Well done Volare Photography! Thanks for this beautiful video which captures a unique perspective of our market, its people and products.
