Having a newborn or a young baby in your life is such a gift and treasure. Each day they are doing something different, learning new things and displaying new expressions. But here lies the problem…They grow up way too fast!

Before you know it they are toddlers and you’ve missed out on capturing those important moments.

Our newborn photography sessions are your peace of mind. All those beautiful things you love about your baby will be there forever for you to remember.

If you have older children then you probably already know the way they interact with their younger siblings is priceless. Some of the most beautiful photographs I take for families are the moments between an older child and a newborn or baby. You don’t want to miss out on capturing these moments.

Our in-home newborn sessions take about 60-90 minutes. These sessions focus on more natural shots of your baby in their natural environment with you and your partner and any siblings. I promise no funny props and outfits or awkward poses.

Best Times To Photograph A Babies First Year

You may have been told that the best time for Newborn Photography is within the first two weeks of your baby's birth. This is true if we are doing very stylised wrapped up shots with props.

We use to do this but now we offer newborn photography in your own home. The sessions are a lot more relaxed and we only photograph natural poses. The best thing about this is that there really is no deadline for you to have your baby's photo session. However, within the first month is ideal. The time after birth can be very hectic so this allows some time for you to get into a routine and not stress about photoshoots straight after their birth.

On another note...The best time to photograph your baby in their first year is at 3-4 months (they SMILE and can hold their heads up), 6-7 months (they can sit up, maybe crawling and are a lot more interactive) and their first birthday (crawling, maybe walking and Hey, it's their BIRTHDAY!!!)

About a week after your photography session you will get to view your beautiful images and make your selections and place your order.
