I can’t think of anything better than celebrating Christmas with the arrival of a newborn child into the family. For Kylie and Damian this is exactly the scenario they found themselves in with the arrival of their beautiful little girl, Indie, a few days before Christmas. Christmas is such a cherished time to be amongst family and loved ones and to bring a precious new life into this world just emphasises this even more.

Newborn Photos

I was lucky enough to photograph Indie for her newborn photo session. She was so adorable and hardly cried at all throughout the session. She only woke up for the occasional feed. This made my job so much easier because it is usually the baby that dictates the length and tempo of these type of sessions. If a newborn is feeling a little bit restless on the day we take things a lot slower and patience is critical as we try to place them into cute little poses.

We photographed Indie on New Year’s Eve. What better time to photograph a newborn than as you approach the dawn of a new year? I am sure Kylie and Damian have so many hopes and dreams for their gorgeous little girl as she grows up.
